That sounds good. I occasionally have cold drinks during the summer. I like lemonade or Pepsi Cola.

Me too! Trying not to drink so much pop, even though it doesn’t help the weight any lol. Just different tastes through out the day. 🙂

At one time I drank pop daily, but I rarely ever drink it now.

same here but mostly fountain, it was my daily venture out to see the public, lol, now depends on if hubby brings me one or not, lol.

Happy Monday, Vero. Sunny, warm and dry here, still in draught. Oh, does that cornbread look yummy. I enjoyed my coffee earlier, about ready to have another cup.

Pintos and ham was a staple when I was growing up, always with a side of cornbread. 😊

Yummm nothing better than good fried country ham. Red eye gravy in the skillet after the ham comes out.😋😋

I knew that was cornbread before you said it! My mom had those molds. We liked when she sometimes made it sweet.
You can keep your pintos though, unless you include a jalapeno! 😘-
Corn bread baked in those pans has lots of crust. Yummy!
I like sweet, pickled peppers with my pintos.
I had my second cup with a hunk of strawberry cobbler from the freezer and warmed up…😋😋

Your mention of this Monday being a “use the dryer day” reminded me of the old saying about doing different chores on different days of the week. I think that it said that you were supposed to wash on Monday, iron on Tuesday, and so on.

Monday see the bubbles fly
Tuesday see the wash get dry.
Wednesday mend with all your might
Thursday make things clean and bright.
Friday bad for dust that flies
Saturday good for cakes and pies.
Sunday when all things are free
After church we have our tea!-
