Happy Monday, Vero. Sunny, warm and dry here, still in draught. Oh, does that cornbread look yummy. I enjoyed my coffee earlier, about ready to have another cup.

I knew that was cornbread before you said it! My mom had those molds. We liked when she sometimes made it sweet.
You can keep your pintos though, unless you include a jalapeno! 😘LikeLike

Corn bread baked in those pans has lots of crust. Yummy!
I like sweet, pickled peppers with my pintos.

Your mention of this Monday being a “use the dryer day” reminded me of the old saying about doing different chores on different days of the week. I think that it said that you were supposed to wash on Monday, iron on Tuesday, and so on.

Wednesday mend with all your might
Thursday make things clean and bright.
Friday bad for dust that flies
Saturday good for cakes and pies.
Sunday when all things are free
