Unfried green tomatoes!

I just might have to change that. I do love fried green tomatoes.

I’ve had fried green tomatoes only a few times long ago. I should refresh my memory by having them again.

Yes you should. I like mine just rolled in corn meal and fried , sugared heavily to counteract that sour flavor.

*so jealous!* I miss home grown tomatoes. Nothing like them.

If you can possibly make room for one plant, you should pot up one.

This is the first year I didn’t. Pots are more work for a lot less tomatoes. We have a farm near us that sells them. I’ve been getting them there but there is still nothing like eating them directly off the stalk still warm from the sun.
