Oh wow! Looking at that foliage, I am guessing an Asian lily of some sort. I am looking forward to seeing the blooms 🙂
Me too.😊😊
It does look Asian at that stage. I was hoping for my oriental Stargazer.
That is odd. It looks more like a Grecian windflower (Anemone) to me.
Yes the purple flower is an anemone. The subject of the photo is supposed to be the little purple bulbs that are just starting to sprout. I guess I should have cropped the anemone out. It is confusing everyone. Sorry bout that!
That’s all right. I was surprised, since the bulb didn’t look like an anemone bulb.
I love when mysterious are solved!
By the way, I believe you live in heaven – 30 miles from civilization on an extensive property! ♥♥
Blessings!
What a sweet comment!! Thank you so much. I do love life in the country and can’t imagine ever moving back to town. I lived there twenty years and that was enough.
I can see a little house in the country in my future 🙂
I hope you get it!!!♥
That’s odd because it looks more like the chrysanthemum family.
The little purple things with spiky leaves are the whatsits. The flower is an anemone that is sharing the space.
