My son-in-law was going out the back door to do some chores and stuck his head back in to say, “You’ve got a friend out here looking for you.”
I went out to see what he meant, and found a big box turtle that was one I hadn’t seen before. I asked him to wait, and keep an eye on the turtle so that it didn’t wander off while I ran for my phone to take a picture.
When I came back, my son-in-law said, “He left you a little something.”
I said, “No, that’s just his back leg.”
Then the turtle took a few steps and left his “back leg” laying in the grass!!!
Now y’all know I like to be as original as possible, and I try really hard not to be boring.
I’m willing to bet that you’ll have to look long and hard to find another post starring “turtle poo”!
