There is a Methodist Church in Webb, Mississippi, part of the Delta, that is octagonal in design, with a center round dome. It was built in 1917 by church architect M. M. Alsop who practiced in Memphis, Tennessee.

In the county where I live in England, we have 120 ’round tower’ churches, most are close to 1000 years old. The churches themselves are not completely circular.
