I’ve been AWOL today!

It rained a good part of the day which made it pretty hard to plan anything. I’m not complaining though, because we need the rain.

The highlight of the day was Hot Dogs for dinner!!!

Home made sauce, and slaw made from a head of cabbage fresh from the veggie garden.

This is a really different recipe for chili sauce…pretty much the same as the original “Coney Dog” recipe from wayyy back!

I hope you will try it. If you do, please let me know what you think.

Sure is!!!! I like a good old-fashioned fire and weiner sticks! (Marshmallows of course, for dessert.)

Still awaiting rain in Eastern England, with 5 more dry days forecast for this week.
    Best wishes, Pete.

Hope you get rain soon. Droughts are so frustrating.

Yummy, I do like hot dogs. That sauce sounds good and easy to make.

It is really good. Reminds you of hot dogs from the old drive-in restaurants and movie theaters way back in our youth.

I love chili dogs! That is a lot like my recipe, except I brown my hamburger first!

That’s what makes this one so different. Just cooking the ingredients without browning the meat gives it a whole different flavor. It is reminiscent of the hot dogs we ate long ago. I make mine this way all the time now.
