Taking up where we left off, the next thing as we go back toward the house is what I jokingly call my “woman cave”.

My daughter had this old (mid-70s model) camper and she wanted to sell it. I bought it for my young granddaughter and I to play around with.
We planted a little scrub red maple near it that had two distinct trunks, so we dubbed the camper “Twin Maples.”

We had lots of lovely days and nights there. Hubby and the rest of the family weren’t interested in joining us, but they supported our love of camping in it.

I bought a small outdoor wood burning stove, and we created our “courtyard”. Weiner roasts or just sitting by a fire is so enjoyable.

You can’t see the stove in this picture. It is directly behind the table.

The camper was in great condition for it’s age and had everything we needed.

Even a peeping Tom Zinnia!!

She was my faithful sidekick for the first fifteen years or so of her life. Now she’s all grown up and has other interests so we just say hi from time to time.

Yes she did. We both did. Lots of bonding going on there. I home schooled her and we did a lot of our work on that table.

The zinnias were awesome that year. Just kept getting taller and taller. The butterflies loved them.

That sounds like so much fun. I like the name. I could live in something like that. 🙂

I could happily live there too.
      I love naming odd things.
