I am going to spend some time getting to know all the different blocks that can be used on my page, so you may see some really weird stuff coming up.

I “drew” this painting with a mouse way back in the early days of digital art possibilities.

Don’t feel you have to leave glowing comments on all of it!! LOLOL (Although your thoughts are always appreciated.) This is a hobby for me and I want to learn all I can. I am not, (and never will be) a long, drawn-out blog writer. I just live from hour to hour letting whatever happens….happen!

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!

Wow, Vero that the fact that you did that painting with a mouse is amazing. Have fun exploring the blocks.

Thank you Maggie! Drawing with a mouse is very challenging.

I know, I tried it years ago and never succeeded.

For those of us who use WordPress for our own amusement, having fewer choices could be helpful. For those who use WordPress to write websites professionally having all the different styles is needed.

i hope you find your ideal thematic appearance on wordpress. even though I have been using this platform for a long time, i find the blocks and themes simultaneously useful and confusing. the matter is further compounded when trying to position the actual words in your blog in a certain way. then after all of that, there is the realization that more than likely people will not go to your actual page, rather they will simply go to their reader roll where all their subscriptions are chronologically assembled. i concluded that I will simply write for the reader and whatever media i have will be presented in a batch. i wish sometimes, WP would just standardize their presentation or at least narrow it down to 2 or 3 styles. and then there is the somewhat tangential insistence of working with Gravatar where, unless you specify the link of your page on the gravatar profile page, your profile page becomes a dead end when someone wants to visit your blog. oy vey!

You just said a whole lot of things that I have been thinking for months, Mike.
I will still continue and find lots of enjoyment in styling my site though. I do it just for me, plus I keep it open so that I can offer a link to friends on other sites when I want to share something like a recipe, or flowers from my garden.

I try to ignore Gravatar! I’m quite capable of making my own avatars!😛

Yep, it’s squalling off and on. Very pretty, except we also got ice, which is wreaking a bit of havoc across the county.

OOH ice is bad. Be extra careful if you have to go out.♥

Your digital drawing/coloring is really good. I don’t really know where to find where to do this. One time I did, but then forgot. You remember the etch a sketch toy? my drawing with a mouse would be just as awful. haha 🙂

LOL Yes I remember the etch-a-sketch! There is still one laying around here somewhere.
That picture was drawn on an old computer with Windows 3.0. It came with a simple art program that I think was originally called “Paintbrush.” (It is still around, and is simply “Paint”) It has a lot more features now, and is standard on most desktop computers. I’m not sure how it works on phones, but I’m sure …”There’s an app for that”!
Thank you for the compliment and I think you might surprise yourself. You strike me as someone who is extremely capable!!!

I’ve never drawn anything recognizable with a mouse. Yours is good.

Thank you Anne. I was really pleased with it at the time. I’m no artist by any means, but I do love to draw.
