I have no idea what it is.

It’s an American three cent piece common currency back in the 1800s. Very rare.

Okay. I cheated a little bit. I asked Lawyer Guy because I thought it was some sort of military challenge coin. I was partially right. It’s a 3 cent coint from around the Civil War period.
