I have lots of photos of me throughout the years. Both my parents took photos of me, my mom mostly with her Baby Brownie camera. But not a single photo of me on Halloween night before I went out in my costume. I grew up in Canada (Ontario), but one Halloween it was snowing and one Halloween it was raining and I dragged my plastic bag that came with the costume on the road. We had gravel roads. I lost all my candy (which I was not allowed to eat anyway) and the Red Riding Hood cape bled into my Winter coat. It was a new wool coat … the rest of the time ’til I grew out of the coat, it had red stains on it.
