I’m smiling about the coffee temp! Since it’s just me, I just use instant coffee and I like it hot. As a treat, I bought some pumpkin spice liquid creamer, but it cools the coffee so much, you can just drink it down, so back to powdered creamer for me.

I have a little electric coffee warmer that keeps mine hot while I am piddling around and typing. It has three different temperature settings.

I used to have one of those when I worked – it was great! I had it forever plus the mug had a lid on it which I put on when I left my desk.

Yes lids help too. I have a large mug collection. I keep trying new ones.

I saw that the other day. 🙂 Wide-mouth mugs make your coffee get cold too fast. That’s why I resort to the powdered creamers, so it steams up my glasses when I drink it. 🙂

You’re right about the wide mouthed mugs, but I like them. I have tried every type of coffee container ever made I think, but end up going back to my old faithful one.

The smaller-mouthed cups are prone to falling over though – I have a few too. I used to collect teddy bears, so I have a lot of bear-related mugs from over the years.

I had some in the house too – I thought it was one and smashed it between a book, then I saw its brother, then its sister, aunt, uncle, cousin … sigh.

When I worked and we had a coffeemaker I always drank it black.

What brand of instant do you use. I kinda like Tasters choice.

For morning, my first cup is Nescafe Clasico (I like the dark roast) and my second cup has always been Taster’s Choice French Roast, but I am on my last bottle and my grocery store no longer carries it, so I’m going to have to go to Kroger or order it through Amazon. I only drink two cups a day as I also have a cup of green tea. It took me a few years and green tea is finally growing on me – I am not a tea drinker at all and only drinking it for the health effects. Bigelow has a great green tea with elderberry in it. It is wonderful, smells wonderful and has 100% serving of Vitamin C. I drink it every other day as I already take a multiple vitamin with Vitamin C in it.

Sounds like a good routine. I like a medium roast. I use McCafe pods.

I did pause at the new mini Keurig coffee maker at the store the other day, but then marched past it. I just loaded up on some pantry supplies the other day and part of them were instant coffee so maybe next year.

That’s what I have…a tiny blue one. I love it! I have my pods delivered automatically from Amazon.

We never had a coffee maker here, though we had a coffee pot quite a while ago. My mom switched to tea as she had heartburn all the time, so instant coffee just for me made sense.

I like a couple of herbal teas, but have never developed a liking for just ordinary tea. I do like good really sweet iced tea.
