The generator guy just left with $100.00 of my hard-earned egg money!

Quite expensive, but he gave it a thorough checkup and said it’s good to go for another year.

I can’t believe my “new” generator is already over a year old and had 100 hours on it. It sure has been a blessing this summer to have it run the a/c during power outages.

It’s good to get things checked out before the weather turns cold. It always seems like there is one repair/maintenance expense or another.

      Isn’t that the truth!!!!!
Yes, I feel better knowing that everything is working like it is supposed to.

That seems reasonable for a pre-winter service, giving peace of mind for the coming cold season.
    Best wishes, Pete.

Yes, I guess it isn’t bad considering the price of things these days. I’m glad now that I had the guy come and service it.

Does yours cycle on every now and then? And how loud is it?

Yes it cycles on once a week for six minutes. It is pretty loud if you are in a room that is close to it. We have it installed just a couple of feet from the side of the house. You could put it farther away, but the wire is terribly expensive. I can’t hear it at all when I am in the rooms farthest from where it is.

We had a Generac when we lived in Western NY and got slammed with 100 inches of snow every winter! They are worth their weight in gold and then some! Vero, it was one hundred bucks well spent!!💜💜

I agree Susan. This is our second one. The first one wasn’t heavy duty enough to run our a/c.

I don’t have heat or AC when the power is off, but I do have running water. The generator runs the pump, as well as the flash water heater.

We used a generator like that for many years. It just kept the bare basics going.

Probably the single most important thing on the farm. I can’t imagine what life was like before we got it.
