I only have one rose in my garden. It is “Zephirine Drouhin”, a thornless rambler with a lovely old rose scent!
I have three bushes in different locations and when in bloom, they fill the area with their fragrance that can be smelled from several feet away!
I often bring them inside to enjoy.

They are beautiful! Reminds me of my father-in-law’s roses back in Texas. They ran along the fence in front of the house, and they smelled wonderful. I have never tried to grow roses, so it is lovely to see yours.
I have never grown many roses either. I bought a couple of hybrid tea roses but they did no good at all.Both reverted to the rootstalk. I’m so happy with these now.

You should try this one Maggie! It is easy to grow in full sun.
No roses here. I did a hedge of knockouts for several years until some mysterious illness took over. My mother had a row of old fashioned standard roses in all colors. It was beautiful but she was meticulous about their care.
This particular rose seems to require less work and worry than most others. I just plant and stand back. It is a vigorous grower.

Sadly I’ve not had luck with roses. If it’s not Japanese beetles, it’s black spot. I gave up on them years ago but will love them vicariously through you.

I know what you mean about problems. I had given up on them too until I discovered this one. It is unstoppable! You should give one a try it you have space for a monster plant. It’s supposed to be a re-bloomer, but mine rarely ever does. That fragrance is awesome though!!
