Those are gorgeous! Sadly most of my flowers that attract butterflies have been eaten by woodchucks so we don’t see them as much as we used to.

So sad about your flowers. I have a suggestion. Plant some Mexican sunflowers. If you aren’t familiar with them, they are an annual that grows into a small tree (jokingly) before the frost kills them. The butterflies love them. I will see if I can locate some of my past pictures of them and do a post on it.
Woodchucks LOVE sunflowers. Nibble them down to nubs so I don’t know if that would work…
The Mexican ones are quite different,. You might need to keep them protected until the get about a foot or so tall.
