I think it was 17° when I got up this morning.

Brrrrr. It’s 13 here this morning (Wednesday) A little better than yesterday’s single digits, but still really cold!

Now those are some long icicles. It is is coming my way with frozen stuff this weekend. I am not looking forward to the single digit temps. They say we will have snow but not sure how much just yet. I hope we get no freezing rain. Stay warm and safe Vero.

As a little kid I loved to suck on those icicles. We had no electricity up our hollow until I was around ten, and even then, we didn’t get a refrigerator for a while, so ice was a luxury. That picture was one I found online but I do see a few hanging off my greenhouse roof. Grandson wanted to eat one, but I reminded him of the dead rat I threw up on the roof. lol

I bet he didn’t want to eat one of those icicles after you reminded him of that rat. lol. I remember when we bought ice blocks. My, how the times have changed.

😅😅😅 Nope!!!! Things have changed for sure. I never used an ice block. I don’t think they were available this far out in the country. There was an ice plant in a little town about 30 miles away and I’m sure that people in town used them.
