Good Morning World and all my lovely friends! Hope you survived the evening in a safe and enjoyable manner.

I have a “Truth is stranger than fiction” story to tell.

I wanted to stay up until midnight to welcome the new year in, but there is just no way I can stay awake that late. I haven’t for many years!

I went to bed around 9:30 and quickly fell asleep.

I awakened some time later and wondered what time it was. I looked at my watch, and…(Y’all aren’t gonna believe this)

IT WAS EXACTLY 12:00!!!

    Now that was just cool! I was up until after 2:00. Fire works going off until 1:30 some of which sounded like bombs. I could not have slept through those for sure. Hoping tons of good things for you in 2026. Hugs

      I thought it might have been fireworks that woke me at 12, but other family members were awake and they said nothing went off. I had all the windows closed so my room was quiet!

    Great timing! I stayed up until 2:00 to clean up the kitchen after the party. Not setting an alarm, I woke at 9:00. Very acceptable!
