My main interests in having a web site of my own are not necessarily to be a blogger, but to interact with nice folks, and play around with “decorating” my site.

I realize not much site visiting is done, and I really don’t expect that to change, but I like adding things there just for my own pleasure.

I dabble a little bit in coding and want to work on that this winter too.

I am using a theme that lets me work with blocks, so I plan to test out all the blocks to see what they do and how they act. If you happen to drop by my site, it might look a bit weird at times. lol

I know just enough code to get myself in trouble. I’m still using the same template I had when I first stumbled through the design of this blog. Originally, I was hosted somewhere else and the server owner was my “tech guy” who did all the designing and coding and stuff. Thing happened and I ended up here on WordPress and so far, have managed not to make a mess of things. 😆

Enjoy your playing around. It’s good to keep your mind busy.

I am just now getting used to the blocks. When I had blog pages before they did not have the blocks. I too like to change how my site looks, but I have found that not many ever see it. I still enjoy playing around with it. I don’t do coding and probably too old to try that now. 🙂

Thank you. That is a Japanese maple in my front yard. I need to change it to something wintry, but I hate to give it up.

It is a gorgeous tree. My neighbor recently planted three Japanese Maples in their front yard. They are not very big but they are already beautiful.

Mine is mostly bare today. That snow sent all it’s pretty leaves tumbling to the ground!

Yes! In the blink of an eye it will be spring again and it will burst forth with brightly colored leaves in a different shade of red! It’s really a great tree that is beautiful in all seasons.
And to think I bought it in the bargain bin for $7.00!
(I had just given $30.00 for one that promptly croaked after two months)

I am already looking forward to spring. Sorry the expensive tree croaked, but happy that the $7.00 one is living and beautiful.

LOL You’re never too old. As long as you can sit up, read and type you got it made!! 😅😅

Thank you, Vero for the encouragement. I am grateful that I can still sit up, read and type. Still not sure about coding though. 🙂
