One of the highlights of the year is our annual Thanksgiving dinner! I have roasted more turkeys than I care to remember!!

The menu includes all the usual with a few twists. Over the next few days I will be posting some of my favorite recipes in case anyone would like a bit of a change. Feel free to copy and use any of them that you want.

Starting off with cranberry sauce. (Hubby’s favorite…that tube of reddish stuff that you dump out of a can and slice, then toss into the trash after a couple of slices have been pushed around on your plate.

A few years ago I ran across this recipe and immediately fell in love with it! I hope you will at least give it a try.

This sounds excellent. I would try it if there were going to be more than three people eating Thanksgiving dinner here.

You could probably cut the recipe in half. Or make it and give some away. I have two neighbors that I always share mine with.

My family is die hard canned jellied (not the saucy stuff) cranberry stuff. One year I made a homemade version with oranges (it was good!). No one but me ate it. This looks like something I would like. Maybe I need a new family!

LOL some of my family members are like that too. And some of them won’t touch either one. They just have an intense dislike for cranberries. I hope you like it! It makes a great topping for vanilla ice cream too.

My husband won’t touch anything with cranberries. He’s not a fan. I like them in a lot of different ways.

I love all things cranberry!!  I want to think there is a cranberry jello, but maybe I only dreamt that.  Cranberry orange relish is my favorite, but I think I’ll try this.  Thanks for sharing!JanSent from my Galaxy

Nice to have you stop by Jan.
I hope you like it. I think the cherry jello compliments the cranberries.

I am not a cook. Too many years waiting tables. The last thing I wanted to do at the end of the day was cook. But I do love to eat 😋

    Good recipe!

Thanksgiving without cranberry sauce isn’t Thanksgiving.

Oh I fully agree. I always put out a can of the jelled stuff just for tradition.

This sauce will keep for at least a month if kept well-refrigerated.
