      I know!!!! I feel really fortunate that I created the canning kitchen when we built the house, not having any idea that I would need it later.

    Wow! A private kitchen! No one ever wants to cook in my kitchen, because they would rather wait for the food to come to them, already cooked by me. This arrangement suits me.

      Most of my family do not like the foods I cook so they make their own. I prefer hearty home-cooked dishes and they like the frozen quickie stuff from the store. They weren’t raised that way so I have no idea how it happened.

    Growing up, our kitchen was abustle. Living alone, I got used to it being “my space.” When I got married, it was still my space. Now I have to share it with two big dogs because one thinks the oven might swallow me or I might drown in the sink and the other is hoping I’ll be clumsy and drop food. That whole 5 second rule thing. 🤣
