Glamorous lady!
Thank you Silver!!
I remember those days. You looked so pretty.
Thanks Maggie! It’s so nice to have friends that are from the same era as me, and that I have lots of things in common with. ♥
You are welcome. I am so happy that we have found each other on WP. I sure enjoy knowing we have a lot of things in common.
Looking forward to winter and sharing bits and pieces!!
Wow! You had big hair! Love the dress. So elegant.
Thank you Kate! Yes the bigger the better was in vogue back then. I designed the dress and my mother made it! ♥ I wish I had one of my coat too. (this was taken in March) Mom made my coat as well from fake fur.
Now it’s the flatter the better! 🙂
I knowwww and I hate it!
So many older people would look much much better if they would just fluff their hair up a bit. That straight lanky look is so aging.
Amen sister! One hair stylist dried my bangs flat against my head. I looked like a 6 year old with wrinkles!
You were magnificent!!
Thank you Anne! It was a happy time. A Junior Women’s Club convention!!
Big hair, indeed! And look at that gorgeous gown! Lovely photo, Vero 🙂
Thank you Jean. I loved that dress. I designed it and my mother made it. She was a wonderful seamstress. Her work put me through high school back when pennies were scarce.
You were both very talented! My mom made a lot of our clothes when we were in grade school.
All my dresses were hand made back then. Thank you! It was nice to be able to have exactly what I pictured in my mind.
