Get one from Bits and Pieces. No two pieces are exactly alike and the pieces are large and easy to manage.

Beautiful, colorful scenery puzzle. It is like some of the kinds I like to work.

You have an excellent spot to do puzzles, lots of natural light there and you can leave it undisturbed on the tray. Very nice – the puzzles are nice as well. 🙂

It’s great when it’s raining or snowing to sit and look out the window. Thank you for the nice comment! ♥

You’re welcome. I am envious of people who have a lot of space to have hobby areas. I scratch my head all the time as I wonder how three adults (my parents and me) and a bird lived here, when I am here alone and it is clustered and I can’t find things half the time.

Sounds like the little house I grew up in 24×28 feet. Hubby and I bought it and lived there for years until we decided to build a larger one. I have more room now than I know what to do with. Five people live here and each of us has our own separate hangout.

That would work for me. I tried to figure out which room could be a hobby room – I’ve yet to figure it out. I’ve been retired since March 2024 and keep planning to get rid of all my work clothes … except, you see, I worked from home from 2011 on, so I didn’t get dressed up anymore.

I’ve been a hermit for the last five years and discovered how nice it is. I am quite content with my house and garden and rarely ever go anywhere.

I am a homebody as well, but I do walk and take photos for my blog, but once I am home for the day, I am in the house for good. I used to have a large garden in the backyard, but almost everything in a Polar Vortex that was the Winter of 2013-2014. I did not replant what I lost and the rosebushes did not die, but then a downed wire fire in 2022 took out most of my back garden and one side. I just had it landscaped – mulch only and retainer walls, no more flowers or bushes as the weather is too odd now. Not going to spend the money/effort, etc. for everything to die.

Awwww what an awful run of bad luck. I don’t blame you for feeling that way, though. I get discouraged at times too. As I get older, it’s getting harder to keep up with all of it.

Yes, it was bad luck for my garden and I spent hours and hours working on it back in the day, even before I left for work and I took the bus so that made for even a tighter morning schedule. I switched to realistic silk flowers for my front and side yards after I started my walking regimen to have less work in those gardens, which was even before I lost everything out back.

It’s so hard to get rid of clothes. I have closets full that I know I will never wear again, but I can’t bear to dispose of them.

That’s how I feel Vero. I loved getting dressed up for work and my late mom and I used to go to the mall shopping for work clothes (and casual clothes as well) – it was something we enjoyed doing together. I look at the clothes and say “maybe another time” for this project.
