My son-in-law had a birthday recently, and the only thing he requested was Peanut Butter Fudge.
I promised I would make him a batch just as soon as I got time.

I am the world’s worst procrastinator, so that fudge still hasn’t been made.

Everyone is out of the house today, leaving me alone in peace and solitude, so, maybe…

I don’t think I’ve ever had peanut butter fudge – I can’t remember my mom making any type of fudge probably so it wouldn’t cause cavities. 🙂

Looks yummy! Hope when you make it that it turns out good. I’ve never been able to do candy or fudge. Never worked. I was good with cookies, pies, and cakes though. 🙂

Ohhh! I love peanut butter fudge. I have eliminated sugar from my diet, but I may make some of this for my neighbors and coworkers this Christmas!

Strange thing is, I could never seem to make it, so I didn’t even try. All I made was chocolate. I had several recipes, and all of them turned out great, but I just couldn’t seem to master the peanut butter. Then about twenty years ago, my mother-in-law gave me this recipe and it was an instant hit! Now it is all I ever make!

Isn’t it strange how some recipes work for us and others don’t? Few recipes have ever worked for me.

I learned to cook at an early age from my mom. A major part of my cooking is done by taste and smell.

That is the way I cook too. My dad taught me how to make biscuits when I was very young. I learned to make cornbread from my mom when I was young also.
