I now pay bills online and do everything digitally as the postage is just crazy now. I have subscribed to Jacquie Lawson e-cards for about six or seven years now and send holiday and birthday greetings that way, save for my one friend who sends me a paper card for my birthday and holidays, so I reciprocate with her. Canadian postage used to be even more outrageous than these prices through the years.

My friends, relatives and I just stopped sending greetings altogether. My family is scattered all over the country and all have their own lives. I’m quite happy with things that way.

I don’t have any family members anymore and no one sends me Christmas cards any more, except the one friend I mentioned. I’m quite happy about that too. People like the Jacquie Lawson cards, so that works for me.

Same here… only great-nieces and nephews and most of them I have never even met. I have lots of good online friends that are closer than family.♥♥

I’m used to being alone – my mom was my only relative for a long time and she’s been gone now since 2010. That’s exactly how I feel Vero, in fact, I just bopped over to Anne Mehrling’s blog as she had not posted anything since your biscuit recipe and recently I got unsubscribed to her blog for some reason, no posts in Reader, I didn’t realize it and went over to see why she hadn’t posted, only to find a slew of posts I had missed and it didn’t show me as subscribed.

I so rarely mail anything. Most things are electronic these days. I am amazed the Post Office can still operate! I remember when letters were 4 cents. I’m dating myself for sure.
