I have a weird question! I notice lots of places where people posting are not using capital letters where one would expect to see them. Is there a reason for this? Something I am missing? I’m not being critical…just curious.

I notice lots of places where people posting are not using capital letters where one would expect to see them. Is there a reason for this? Something I am missing? I’m not being critical…just curious.

    This is the type of little thing that drives me crazy. People have become so lazy with grammar since the advent of texting and spellcheck.
    Capitalize and use proper punctuation, it’s not that hard. Geesh!

      I try not to complain, but it bothers me too. I hate to even make a typo and correct them when it’s at all possible!

          I stated earlier in a comment that punctuation didn’t bother me. What I meant was that I won’t judge the writer harshly, but I do tend to be happier when things look the way they are supposed to….like that crooked picture hanging on the wall!! LOL

    Who knows? Maybe people just can’t be bothered to capitalize things. Plus, typing on their phone like a lot of people do these days, it’s easier I guess to not use a capital letter. 🙂

      AHA! I bet that’s what it is!!! The phones! Yes it’s a pain to have to look up a capital letter on a phone. I don’t post with mine often and actually have never posted anything here with it.

        It doesn’t bother me or anything like that, I just wondered if there was some other reason. Word Press is such an odd duck! 😝😝🤣🤣

        Same here. I text my daughters on the phone, but that is just too small and hard to do for blogging. I know lots that do it though. 🙂
