Beautiful! What is the ground cover/accompaniment? It looks very nice.

It’s a type of sedum (I think) I’ll have to look it up. Thank you!!

Golden creeping sedum is the closest I can come to a variety name. It was given to me years ago and I have it in several places around my garden.

Thank you, Vero! I volunteer at the local historic cemetery and am looking for things like that. What a coincidence that this week we were offered as much stonecrop, or sedum as we want from somebody’s garden! If it ends up looking as nice as your garden, I would be absolutely delighted!

This would be perfect for your needs, It fills in really rapidly and only gets a few inches tall. It is very easy to root and can literally just be thrown on top of the ground.

Thanks! That is what we are looking for, super easy, low maintenance, drought tolerant. September planting it will be.

I have two different types. One has much smaller leaves. I will post some pictures in a bit!

I used to have a lovely lily garden. Then the lily beetles found them and decimated the entire bed in two years.

Oh that’s terrible. I’m so sorry. My worst lily enemy is the voles who eat all the bulbs over the winter. I have very few lilies for that reason.
