Summer is over and it’s snowing again here in the hills.
My day will be spent working up this huge flat of strawberries, turning them into preserves, pie. shortcake, and just eating out of hand or in a bowl with milk and sugar!

Those are nice looking berries considering they are out of season in our area. No white shoulders! The imports are a crap shoot. Sometimes wonderful, sometimes flavorless. Now you have me hungry for berries!

I am in Central West Virginia US.( I guess I should put that somewhere in my intro). I am still floundering around here on this site and deciding how I want it to look. Things are a bit wonky at the moment.
