"VERO'S VERBIAGE & VISUALS"

Someone needs to explain this to me!! Why does one of my half-runners have red flowers? I did have a couple of Scarlet-Runner seeds that I got from a stray bean that developed late last summer, but I don’t THINK I planted them with my Half-runners. (THINK being the key word here.) Who knows!!
